Clients should review the booking provider’s privacy information when submitting information through that platform.

Pretty in Ink uses text messaging for appointment-related communication and direct client conversations.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates.

Pretty in Ink does not sell client health information.

8. Tattoo Photography and Promotional Use

Pretty in Ink may request permission to photograph completed tattoo work.

Clients may decline promotional photography.

Client names and other identifying information will not intentionally be published without appropriate authorization.

Clients may request that promotional photographs be removed from accounts and platforms controlled by Pretty in Ink. Removal from independently maintained third-party copies cannot be guaranteed.

9. Information About Minors

Pretty in Ink may collect information about minors when necessary to provide legally authorized tattoo services.

Required parental or legal guardian consent documentation will be obtained before tattooing a minor.

Information about minors will be used for legitimate service, consent, safety, and recordkeeping purposes.

Appropriate permission will be obtained before using identifiable photographs of minors for promotional purposes.

10. Record Retention

Pretty in Ink retains client information for legitimate business and legal purposes.

South Dakota tattoo regulations require certain client records, including name, address, age, consent documentation, and tattoo descriptions and locations, to be retained for at least two years.

Other information may be retained for longer periods when reasonably necessary for legal compliance, payment records, business operations, or dispute resolution.

Pretty in Ink takes reasonable precautions to protect personal information from unauthorized access, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or loss.

No information storage or transmission method is guaranteed to be completely secure.
