What are digital waivers for tattoo studios?
Digital waivers are consent forms clients read and sign online instead of on paper. With InkDesk, you send the waiver with a message, the client signs on their phone before they arrive, and the signed copy is saved to their project with a timestamp.
Do clients need to create an account to sign?
No. Clients open the link in their email, confirm it’s them with a one-time code, and sign on their phone, tablet or computer. There’s no app to download and no account to create.
Can I customize the waiver content?
Yes. Write your own terms, policies and aftercare rules in text blocks, then add the fields you need: name, birthday, address, checkboxes, file uploads and a signature. Preview it as a PDF before you send it.
When do clients receive the waiver?
Whenever you send it. Attach it to a message when you confirm the booking, or anytime before the session. You can send it together with a deposit or scheduling link, so the client handles everything from one email.

How do I know who signed the waiver?

What happens when I update my waiver?
Edit it anytime. InkDesk saves every version and can show you what changed between two. Clients who already signed keep the version they signed, and the project shows when a newer one is available so you can send it again.
Can I see who hasn’t signed yet?
Yes. Each project shows its waivers as sent, opened or signed. You can also set an automation that checks before a session and reminds you if a waiver is still unsigned, so you can follow up in time.
