What kind of reporting does InkDesk offer?

Can I filter reports by date range?
Yes. Pick today, this week, this month, this quarter, this year or all time, or set your own start and end dates. Every number and chart updates to match.
Can I export my reporting data?
Yes. Export the session report to CSV with the date, client, artist, price, deposit, tax, tip, total and payment method for each session. It’s ready for your accountant or tax prep.
Is there reporting for studios with multiple artists?
Yes. The artist breakdown shows revenue or sessions for each artist, so owners can see how the whole shop is doing or look at one artist at a time. Artists see only their own numbers.
Do I need to set anything up to start seeing my data?
No. Reports fill in as you work. Projects and sessions count right away, and revenue shows up once you check out a session in InkDesk.
How is revenue calculated?
Revenue comes from the sessions you check out in InkDesk, using the price, tax and tip you record. If you take more than one currency, each one is totaled on its own.
What does conversion rate mean?
It’s the share of your projects in the date range that turned into a booked session, whether scheduled, in progress or done. It shows how many requests actually become tattoos.
Can I see deposits I’m still waiting on?
Yes. Outstanding deposits adds up the deposits on sessions in your date range that haven’t been paid yet, so you know who to follow up with.
Can I check my numbers on my phone?
Yes. The InkDesk app for iPhone and Android has the same reports, with date ranges, the revenue chart, the booking pipeline and the artist breakdown, and you can share the session export from your phone.
Are tips and tax shown separately?
Yes. The revenue chart can show revenue, tax and tips on their own, and the average tip has its own card.
Does reporting cost extra?
